Nannette Myers, MS, CDP, LMHC

My name is Nannette Myers and I have been a counselor for 13 years. I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree at Washington State University-Vancouver and a Master’s Degree in Education Counseling with a focus in Individuals, Couples, Marriage and Family Counseling at Portland State University, with a certificate in Addiction Therapy. Most of my counseling has been as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist. I also have worked with people who have co-dependency issues, anxiety issues, post traumatic stress disorder, and depression, as well as domestric violence and anger management treatment.

My specialties are working with couples, families, and individuals that are struggling with communication issues, addiction issues, anxiety, depression, other mood disorders, anger issues, victim’s of domestic violence, and co-dependency issues. I also enjoy working with children and families that are going through transitions, like divorce, moving, and employment issues.

Why am I Unique?

I have previously worked in the drug and alcohol field, domestic violence field, mental health field, and as a marriage and family counselor. I also have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Bowenian Therapy, Drug and Alcohol Counseling, and Individual, Couples, and Marriage and Family Therapy.

My strengths are working with couples who are struggling with communication issues, infidelity issues, drug and alcohol issues, anger issues, and blended family issues. I also enjoy working with teenagers who are struggling with conflict with parents and children from age of 5 up helping them work through transitions and learning how to manage their emotions and express them.
